Browns Signing TE Darren Fells To Three-Year, $12M Deal

Mike Garafolo reports that the Browns are signing TE Darren Fells to a three-year contract worth $12 million and is over half guaranteed.

Fells, 31, originally signed on with the Seahawks back in 2013. He spent just a few months in Seattle before he was waived at the start of the 2013 season. The Cardinals later signed him to their practice before bringing him back on a future/reserve contract in January of 2014.

After a few years in Arizona, Fells signed a one-year contract with the Lions last year.

In 2017, Fells appeared in all 16 games for the Lions and caught 17 passes for 177 yards receiving and three touchdowns.
