Browns Signing Veteran P Britton Colquitt

Mike Klis of 9 News reports that the Browns have agreed to terms with veteran P Britton Colquitt on Friday.

Colquitt, 31, wound up signing on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee back in 2009.

He was in the final year of his four-year, $13.023 million contract that included a roster bonus of $3 million and set to make a base salary of $3.25 million for the 2016 season when he was released.

In 2015, Colquitt appeared in all 16 games for the Broncos and totaled 3,416 yards punting on 84 attempts (40.6 per) and four touchbacks.
