Browns Sold On RB Trent Richardson?

Tony Grossi of ESPNCleveland.com writes that the Browns ma have tipped their hand yesterday when both GM Tom Heckert and coach Pat Shurmur choose to attend Alabama RB Trent Richardson’s Pro Day instead of Texas A&M QB Ryan Tannehill’s.

Grossi mentions that they could very easily have split this up and had one of the attend Alabama’s while the other made an appearance at Texas A&M’s.

I’ll admit that this is based on Grossi’s ability to read the tea leaves in regards to the Browns but they clearly need to address the running back position. Ryan Tannehill is the next best quarterback available, but a number of scouts believe Richardson is the best running back prospect since Adrian Peterson.

He looked great in his Pro Day and throughout the draft process thus far, so I can see why Grossi is prefers him to Tannehill at this point.
