Browns Still In The Mix For WR Terrelle Pryor

According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Browns are still in the mix for free agent WR Terrelle Pryor, who has met with the Seahawks and is visiting with the Jets.

Cabot reports that the Browns have an idea of the kind of money Pryor is looking for and they’re allowing him to take some visits with prospective teams in order to establish his market value before deciding whether to sign him.

Pryor has yet to schedule a visit with the Browns at this point in time.

Pryor, 28, was taken by the Raiders in the third round of the 2011 supplemental draft. He lasted a little over three years in Oakland before he was traded to the Seahawks for a seventh-round pick that ultimately became DB Jonathan Dowling.

Pryor briefly played for the Chiefs and Bengals before later being claimed off of waivers by the Browns. Cleveland elected to cut him loose to make room for RB Robert Turbin last year before bringing him back.

The Browns signed him to a one-year, $1.67 million restricted deal in 2016 before he departed for a one-year, $6 million contract with the Redskins last March.

In 2017, Pryor appeared in nine games for the Redskins and caught 20 passes for 240 yards receiving and one touchdown.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
