Browns Still Trying To Sign WR Terrelle Pryor & LT Nate Solder

Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that the Browns are still in pursuit of free agent WR Terrelle Pryor and LT Nate Solder.

Pryor, 28, was taken by the Raiders in the third round of the 2011 supplemental draft. He lasted a little over three years in Oakland before he was traded to the Seahawks for a seventh-round pick that ultimately became DB Jonathan Dowling.

Pryor briefly played for the Chiefs and Bengals before later being claimed off of waivers by the Browns. Cleveland elected to cut him loose to make room for RB Robert Turbin last year before bringing him back.

The Browns signed him to a one-year, $1.67 million restricted deal in 2016 before he departed for a one-year, $6 million contract with the Redskins last March.

In 2017, Pryor appeared in nine games for the Redskins and caught 20 passes for 240 yards receiving and one touchdown.

Solder, 29, is a former first-round pick of the Patriots back in 2011. He’s played all seven seasons for the Patriots and is now in position to test the free agent market for the first time in his NFL career.

In 2017, Solder appeared in 16 games for the Patriots and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 33 offensive tackle out of 85 qualifying players.

We have them both featured in our Top 100 – 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
