Report: Browns Will Not Trade Up To No. 3 Overall

Pro Football Talk reports that the Browns will not trade up to No. 3 overall, according to a source with direct knowledge of team’s plans.

According to Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports, it “sounds” like the Cleveland Browns are leaning towards taking a pass-rusher in the first-round.

  • Mike Silver mentions that the Browns could trade up with the Raiders and grab BYU DE Ezekiel Ansah at No. 3 overall.

The Browns are one of the more interesting teams to watch in the early portion of round one, simply because they could either move up for a pass-rusher or they could possibly trade down if one of the top-three offensive tackles happens to fall to them at No. 6. Cleveland’s decision to move up could be because the Eagles and Lions could also be in the market for a defensive end as well.

Others have mentioned that cornerback could still be an option for them as well. We have them taking CB Dee Milliner in the first-round of our recently updated 2013 NFL Mock Draft.
