Browns TE Jordan Cameron Could Miss The Next Two Games

According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Browns TE Jordan Cameron could miss the next two games after suffering a concussion during Week 8’s game against the Raiders.

Unfortunately for Cameron, this is the third concussion he’s sustained since 2012. His season has ended each of the past two years following a concussion, so this is a pretty big concern for a great player.

Browns HC Mike Pettine mentioned that he expects to know more regarding Cameron’s status later in the week.

The league, as they should be, is very deliberate with the (concussion) protocol,” said Pettine. “You just take each day and see where he is symptom-wise. I haven’t gotten the full medical report yet today. I’ll probably know a little bit more later this afternoon.

The Browns claimed Ryan Taylor off of waivers Monday, which could be seen as an indication that they are prepared to be without him for at least a few weeks.

Cameron, 26, left Sunday’s game in the second quarter after being on the receiving end of a helmet-to-helmet collision with S Brandian Ross. At the time he exited, Cameron had three receptions for 40 yards.

Cameron has not lit up the scoreboards this season, but he’s still a vital weapon in Cleveland’s passing attack. So far this season, Cameron has 13 receptions on 31 targets for 250 yards and one touchdown.

We currently have Jordan listed as the No. 17 player in our Top 25 – 2015 Free Agents list.
