Browns Trade RB Terrance West To Titans For 2016 Conditional 7th-Rd Pick

Jim Wyatt reports that the Titans have agreed to trade a 2016 conditional pick to the Browns in return for RB Terrance West.

  • Ian Rapoport reports that the Browns will receive a conditional seventh-round pick in return for West.
  • Tennessee also placed rookie RB David Cobb on injured reserve with the designation to return, which means he’s out for the first eight games of the season.

According to Wyatt, the Titans liked West coming out of last year’s draft.

Reports from yesterday mentioned that the Browns were fielding trade offers for West, who could be released if they didn’t find a willing trade partner.

West, 24, played in 14 games for the Browns last season and started six total games during that span. Last season, he accumulated 673 rushing yards for four touchdowns, with 11 receptions for one touchdown.

Pro Football Focus rated West as the No. 41 overall running back out of 57 possible qualifiers from 2014.
