According to Howard Balzer, the Cleveland Browns brought in free agent CB Ashton Lampkin for a tryout on Friday.
Lampkin, 24, signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State back in May of last year. The Chiefs waived him with an injury designation during the preseason and he later reverted to their PUP list.
However, Kansas City would waive him with an injury settlement a few weeks later.
During his college career at OSU, Lampkin recorded 111 tackles, five interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown, 12 pass defenses, two forced fumbles and a recovery over the course of five seasons and 49 games.
