Browns Tried Out LBs Jayson DiManche & Cam Johnson

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Browns brought in LB Jayson DiManche, LB Cam Johnson, and DL Cap Capi this week.

DiManche, 24, signed on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Illinois back in 2013. He was waived/injured during the first round of roster cuts and eventually released from injured reserve with a settlement.

In 2014, DiManche appeared in 14 games for the Bengals and recorded 11 tackles and a forced fumble before he was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a broken forearm.

Johnson, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the 49ers back in 2012. He was unfortunately unable to make the 53-man roster in his rookie season, but later signed to their practice squad.

San Francisco wound up sending him to the Colts in return for 2015 conditional seventh-round pick that became Geoff Swaim.

Indianapolis elected to re-sign Johnson to an exclusive rights tender back in March before waiving him as they cut their roster down to 75 players.
