Browns Waive LB Keith Pough From I.R. With Injury Settlement

The Cleveland Browns officially waived LB Keith Pough from injured reserve with an injury settlement on Thursday, according to the NFL Transactions release.

The Browns placed Pough on waivers last week, but after going unclaimed, he reverted to the team’s reserve/injured list.

Pough, 25, originally signed on with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of Howard back in 2013. Unfortunately, he was unable to make the final 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.

Pough eventually caught on with the Browns in August of last year, but he was once again unable to make the cut. Cleveland later signed him to their practice squad before signing him to a future/reserve contract in December.
