The Cleveland Browns announced Monday that they have placed WR Chandler Jones, LB Edgar Jones and TE James Oboh on waivers.
- This comes less than an hour after the team waived former fifth-round pick OL Jason Pinkston with an injury settlement.
Chandler Jones, 22, signed with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of San Jose State back in May. During his four-year college career, Jones caught 248 passes for 3,087 yards and scored 30 total touchdowns.
Edgar Jones, 29, signed a contract with the Browns a few weeks ago. The Chiefs traded Jones and their 2014 seventh-round draft pick to the Cowboys in return for a 2014 sixth-round draft pick, which would ultimately become Tennessee G Zach Fulton.
Last year, Jones appeared in seven games for the Cowboys and recorded six tackles and a pass defensed.
