Browns Worked Out 3 Players Including DE Sterling Bailey & WR Antwan Goodley

Aaron Wilson reports that the Browns tried out DE Sterling Bailey, WR Antwan Goodley and WR Mitch Matthews on Friday.

Bailey, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia back in May. He was unfortunately among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason but was later signed to their practice squad.

The Colts waived Bailey from their practice squad a few days ago.

During his college career, Bailey recorded 107 tackles, 2.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and seven pass defenses.

Goodley, 25, wound up signing on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Baylor back in May of last year. However, he was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.

Goodley later signed on to the Seahawks’ practice squad towards the end of last year before returning to the team on a future/reserve contract in January. He was unfortunately among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason but was later added to the Seahawks’ practice squad.

Seattle cut him loose earlier in the week.

Goodley has yet to appear in an NFL game.
