Browns Worked Out LB Danny Lansanah

According to Greg Auman, the Browns recently brought in free agent LB Danny Lansanah for a tryout.

This is the first reported interest in Lansanah since the 2016 season.

Lansanah, 32, originally signed on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Connecticut back in 2008. He lasted one year in Green Bay before he was waived at the start of the 2009 season.

Since then, Lansanah has played for the Dolphins, Lions and Jets before catching on with the Buccaneers towards the end of the 2013 season. The Buccaneers elected to not tender him a contract, which made him an unrestricted free agent and he later signed on with the Dolphins back in 2016.

Unfortunately, Miami cut Lansanah loose during the preseason.

In 2015, Lansanah appeared in all 16 games for the Buccaneers and recorded 55 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and four pass defenses. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 46 linebacker out of 97 qualifying players.
