Browns WR Josh Gordon Officially Reinstated From Suspended List Monday

Browns WR Josh Gordon was officially reinstated from the suspended list on Monday and Cleveland received a roster exemption for him.

This means Gordon can officially begin practicing with the Browns.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell reinstated Gordon on a conditional basis a few weeks ago and the expectation has been that he would get some practice in starting this week and possibly be available for the team’s Week 13 game against the Chargers in Los Angeles on Dec. 3.

Gordon, 26, is a former second-round supplemental pick of the Browns back in 2012. He would have already been an unrestricted free agent had he not missed so much time due to suspensions, but the Browns hold his rights for two more years, given that he has just two accrued seasons.

In 2014, Gordon appeared in five games and caught 24 passes for 303 yards receiving, but didn’t score a touchdown.
