Browns WR Kenny Britt At Risk Of Being Cut After Missing Curfew

Mike Garafolo of NFL Media first reported that Browns receivers Kenny Britt and Corey Coleman missed the team’s curfew last week and HC Hue Jackson sent both of them home before their game against the Titans.

Both players were also fined for conduct that was considered detrimental to the team.

A source close to Britt tells Mary Kay Cabot he is at risk of being released by the team.

Britt, 29, is a former first-round pick of the Titans back in 2009. He spent five years in Tennessee before signing on with the Rams in 2014.

The Browns signed Britt to a four-year, $32.5 million deal back in March.

According to OverTheCap.com, Cleveland would save $3,250,000 in cap space by releasing him, while creating $4,875,000 in dead money.

So far this season, Britt has appeared in four games and recorded eight receptions for 121 yards receiving (15.1 YPC) and one touchdown. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 108 overall receiver out of 110 qualifiers.
