Buccaneers CB Aqib Talib Suspended Four Games For Banned Substance

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Tampa Bay CB Aqib Talib will be suspended for four games starting this Sunday for using Adderall.

Despite his overall talent, Talib has had several off-the-field issues since joining the Buccaneers in the 2008. Talib has no plans to appeal his suspension, so E.J. Biggers figures to see more playing time in his absence.

Talib will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, but incidents such as this will not help his chances of securing a long-term contract. We have him currently listed as the No. 30 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
