Buccaneers Claim WR David Gilreath off Waivers from Steelers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers claimed WR/KR David Gilreath off of waivers on Tuesday afternoon after the Pittsburgh Steelers let go of the return specialist, per The Pewter Report.

The move figures to jeopardize punt returner Roscoe Parrish‘s job, considering Parrish is averaging 7.7 yards per return and the team likely wouldn’t keep two players this similar on their 53-man roster.

Gilreath could give the Buccaneers a spark with his return skills after the team wasn’t able to pull out a close game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
