Buccaneers Claim WR Jonathan Krause Off Waivers From Eagles, Cut G Dominique Robertson

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially claimed WR Jonathan Krause off of waivers from the Eagles on Saturday.

The Buccaneers waived G Dominique Robertson with a non-football injury designation to make room for Krause.

Krause, 24, originally signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Vanderbilt back in 2014. He lasted five months in Cleveland before he was waived midseason and later signed to the Patriots’ practice squad.

New England brought Krause back on a future/reserve contract before waived him at a few weeks into the 2015 season. The Eagles elected to sign him to their practice squad and eventually promoted him to their active roster in November.

Philadelphia cut him loose on Friday.

In 2015, Krause appeared in two games for the Eagles and recorded two receptions for 11 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
