Buccaneers Host Six Free Agents For Tryouts Including WR David Gettis

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced that they will hold tryouts for six free agent players later this week.

The most notable player trying out for the team is WR David Gettis, who was released by the Redskins close to a month ago.

Other players who will be in attendance include: CB Kip Edwards, DT Ronald Talley, S Tony Dye, P Kirby Van Der Camp, LB T.J. Fatinikun.

Gettis, 26, was a sixth-round pick of the Panthers back in 2010. He spent four years with Carolina and appeared in a total of 17 games during this time. However, Gettis hasn’t played in a game since 2012 and has dealt with some injuries over the course of his NFL career.

We’ll have to see if any of these players are able to make the team later this week.
