Siliga, 26, wound up signing on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Utah back in 2011. He lasted just a few months with the 49ers before signing on with the Broncos and later being traded to the Seahawks for G John Moffitt. Seattle elected to waive Siliga a few months later before he signed to the Patriots’ practice squad.
The Patriots didn’t tender Siliga a restricted offer, which allowed him to test the market as an unrestricted free agent. The Seahawks signed him to a contract back in March before putting him on injured reserve and later cutting him loose coming out of the preseason.
In 2015, Siliga appeared in 13 games for the Patriots and recorded 28 tackles and no sacks. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 79 interior defensive lineman out of 123 qualifying players.
