Buccaneers Have Inquired About Former Dolphins C Mike Pouncey

Jenna Laine reports that the Buccaneers have inquired about former Dolphins C Mike Pouncey, who is being released on Thursday.

As of now, the Buccaneers have yet to schedule a visit with Pouncey, but this is something to watch in the coming days.

Tampa Bay is also in the mix for Ravens free agent C Ryan Jensen, who will meet with the Colts.

Pouncey, 28, is a former first-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2011. He was entering the fourth year of his six-year, $52.438 million contract that included $22 million guaranteed and set to make a base salary of $7.97 million when the Dolphins released him.

In 2017, Pouncey appeared in all 16 games for the Dolphins and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 47 offensive tackle out of 85 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
