Buccaneers, Jaguars, & Redskins Among Suitors For OT Jermey Parnell

Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reports that Cowboys free agent OT Jermey Parnell will do well in free agency and listed the Buccaneers, Jaguars, and Redskins as teams with interest in him.

The offensive tackle market was limited heading into today, but it’s got even more so now that the Cowboys have locked up RT Doug Free and the Texans brought back Derek Newton.

Indications have been that Parnell was likely to reach the open market, and given that available cap space, it would not be surprising to see him land a sizable contract in the end.

Parnell, 28, has played out his four-year, $4.63 million rookie contract and is now in line for a sizable raise for the 2015 season. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 21 offensive tackles in the league out of 84 qualifying players.

We have Parnell listed as the No. 30 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
