Buccaneers Place WR Evan Spencer On Reserve/Retired List

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Friday that they have placed WR Evan Spencer on the reserve/retired list.

This comes just a few days after they signed him to their practice squad.

Spencer, 23, was taken in the sixth round of last year’s draft by the Redskins. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason during his rookie year, but later signed on to the Buccaneers’ practice squad a few weeks into the season.

Tampa Bay elected to cut Spencer loose last week as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players.

In 2015, Spencer was active for one game but did not record a single statistic.
