The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Thursday that they’ve promoted DE Channing Ward to the active roster and signed OT Kyler Kerbyson to their practice squad.
The Buccaneers’ practice squad now consists of:
- S Isaiah Johnson
- TE Tevin Westbrook
- G Michael Liedtke
- DB Cody Riggs
- WR Myles White
- OL Josh Allen
- WR Kendrick Ings
- DE Deonte Gibson
- RB Blake Sims
- OT Kyler Kerbyson
Ward, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Ole Miss back in May. He managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was, unfortunately, cut loose back in November.
The Buccaneers signed him to their practice squad soon after.
In 2016, Ward has appeared in four games for the Buccaneers and recorded five tackles and no sacks.
