Buccaneers Promote DE Demone Harris From PS

According to Rick Stroud, the Buccaneers promoted DE Demone Harris from their practice squad to the active roster.

Harris takes DE Will Clarke‘s roster spot, who was released on Tuesday.

Harris, 22, signed on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Buffalo back in May. He was among Tampa Bay’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and signed to their practice squad once passing through waivers unclaimed.

During his three-year college career, Harris recorded 106 total tackles, 16 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, one interceptions, three pass defenses, one forced fumble, and four fumble recoveries.
