Buccaneers Promote DL Jeremiah Ledbetter To Active Roster

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Wednesday that they’ve promoted DL Jeremiah Ledbetter to their active roster.

  • Buccaneers signed LB Farrington Huguenin and DL Alex James to their practice squad. (NFLTR)

Ledbetter, 24, is a former sixth-round pick by the Lions out of Arkansas in the 2017 NFL Draft. He was entering the second year of his four-year, $2.5 million rookie contract when he was waived coming out of the preseason.

Ledbetter signed on with the Buccaneers’ practice squad shortly after clearing waivers unclaimed.

In 2017, Ledbetter appeared in all 16 games for the Lions and recorded 14 total tackles and 0.5 of a sack.
