Buccaneers Promote WR Freddie Martino, Sign DE Patrick Gamble To PS

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers promoted WR Freddie Martino to their active roster on Wednesday and signed DE Patrick Gamble to their practice squad.

The Buccaneers’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. LB Riley Bullough
  2. OL Mike Liedtke
  3. T Marquis Lucas (Injured)
  4. LB Eric Nzeocha (International)
  5. WR Bobo Wilson
  6. OT Justin Murray
  7. DT Channing Ward
  8. DB David Rivers
  9. FB Alan Cross
  10. DE Pat O’Connor
  11. S Isaiah Johnson
  12. DE Patrick Gamble

Martino, 26, originally signed on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of North Greenville back in 2014. He spent over a year in Atlanta before signing on with the Eagles during the 2015 preseason.

Philadelphia brought Martin back on a future/reserve contract only to cut him loose shortly after last year’s draft. Martino signed on with the Bucs soon after.

In 2016, Martino appeared in 13 games for the Buccaneers and caught eight passes for 142 yards receiving and a touchdown.
