The Buccaneers announced that they’ve signed No. 1 overall pick QB Jameis Winston.

Buccaneers GM Jason Licht announced Friday that No. 1 overall pick QB Jameis Winston has already signed his rookie contract with the team.

Ian Rapoport reports that Winston receives a four-year contract worth $25.35 million, which is fully guaranteed. The contract includes a $16.7 million signing bonus.
Winston will receive roster bonuses on the fifth of training camp in 2016, 2017, and 2018, according to Rapoport.
The contract also includes a fifth-year option that can be picked up by the Buccaneers that is guaranteed for injury only.
During his two years at Florida State, Winston threw for 7,964 yards while completing 66 precent of his passes to go along with 65 touchdowns and 28 interceptions. He scored seven rushing touchdowns and ran for 284 yards.
