Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston suffered an injury to his throwing shoulder during Sunday’s game against the Cardinals and is doubtful to return to the game.

Veteran QB Ryan Fitzpatrick has replaced Winston as the Buccaneers’ starter.

Here’s hoping that Winston’s injury isn’t as bad as the broken collarbone that Aaron Rodgers suffered against the Vikings earlier in the day.

Winston, 23, is a former first-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2015. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $25.35 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $615,000 and $705,000 over the next two years of the agreement.

Entering today’s game, Winston had appeared in four games and thrown for 1,198 yards while completing 61 percent of his passes to go along with seven touchdowns and three interceptions. He has also rushed for 30 yards receiving.

We’ll have more regarding Winston’s injury as the news is available.
