Buccaneers Re-Sign CB Mike Jenkins, LB Danny Lansanah, & S Bradley McDougald

Update:

The Buccaneers announced that they’ve re-signed CB Mike Jenkins and extended qualifying offers to exclusive rights free agents LB Danny Lansanah and S Bradley McDougald.

McDougald, 24, originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas back in 2013.

Last year, he appeared in 15 games and recorded 50 tackles, an interception and seven pass defenses for the Buccaneers. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 32 safety out of 87 qualifying players.

Luke Easterling first reported that the Buccaneers have re-signed veteran CB Mike Jenkins to a one-year contract.

Jenkins, 29, signed a one-year contract worth $1.5 million with the Buccaneers in March of last year. However, he unfortunately suffered a season-ending pectoral injury that forced the Buccaneers to place him on injured reserve.

He was limited to appearing in just one game for the Buccaneers, so it seems likely that he’ll have to earn his roster spot in training camp.
