Buccaneers Re-Sign RFA WR Adam Humphries

According to Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times, Buccaneers restricted free-agent WR Adam Humphries has signed his one-year tender for the 2018 season on Monday.

Tampa Bay placed the second-round restricted tender on Humphries, which will cost them $2.914 million for the 2018 season.

Humphries, 24, wound up signing on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson back in 2015. He was on and off of the Bucs’ practice squad during his rookie season and returned to the Tampa Bay on an exclusive rights contract last year.

In 2017, Humphries appeared in all 16 games for the Buccaneers and caught 61 passes for 631 yards receiving and one touchdown. He also rushed for six yards and totaled 49 punt return yards.
