Buccaneers GM Jason Licht mentioned Saturday that they’ve agreed to terms to re-sign DT Sealver Siliga, per Greg Auman.
Siliga, 26, wound up signing on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Utah back in 2011. He lasted just a few months with the 49ers before signing on with the Broncos and later being traded to the Seahawks for G John Moffitt. Seattle elected to waive Siliga a few months later before he signed to the Patriots’ practice squad.
The Patriots didn’t tender Siliga a restricted offer, which allowed him to test the market as an unrestricted free agent. The Seahawks signed him to a contract back in March before putting him on injured reserve and later cutting him loose coming out of the preseason.
The Seahawks signed him to a contract during last season but cut him loose in November. The Buccaneers later claimed him off of waivers.
In 2016, Siliga appeared in 10 games and recorded 10 tackles and a sack.
