Buccaneers Ready To Expand LeGarrette Blount’s Workload?

Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano mentioned that RB LeGarrette Blount “probably needs more carries,” per Stephen Holder.

So far, the Bucs have only given Blount seven carries in the team’s first three games, so even an expanded role could be fairly limited. Doug Martin hasn’t put together a breakout performance up to this point, so it makes sense that they would be considering all available options. Pro Football Focus has Tampa Bay rated as the No. 15 best  run blocking unit in the league.
