Barth, 30, was in the final year of his contract and set to make a base salary of $1.33 million for the 2016 season.

According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Barth will free up $1,333,333 in available cap space while creating no dead money.

In 2015, Barth appeared in 12 games for the Buccaneers and converted 23 of 28 field goal attempts (82.1 percent) to go along with 25 of 26 extra point tries and 32 touchbacks.
