Buccaneers Release WR Freddie Martino, Add Two To Practice Squad

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Tuesday that they’ve released WR Freddie Martino.

The Buccaneers also signed OL Ruben Holcomb and CB David Rivers to their practice squad and released OT Jarron Jones and RB Dare Ogunbowale from the unit.

Here’s the Buccaneers updated practice squad:

  1. OL Cole Boozer
  2. TE Tanner Hudson
  3. S Godwin Igwebuike
  4. DL Jeremiah Ledbetter
  5. LB Eric Nzeocha (International)
  6. DE Patrick O’Connor
  7. WR Bobo Wilson
  8. DB Mark Myers
  9. WR Damoun Patterson
  10. OL Ruben Holcomb
  11. CB David Rivers

Martino, 27, originally signed on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of North Greenville back in 2014. He spent over a year in Atlanta before signing on with the Eagles during the 2015 preseason.

Philadelphia brought Martin back on a future/reserve contract only to cut him loose shortly after the 2016 draft. Martino signed on with the Bucs soon after and has been on and off of their roster ever since.

In 2018, Martino appeared in four games for the Buccaneers but has yet to record a statistic.
