Buccaneers Rookie LB Jack Cichy Out For Season With Torn ACL

Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports that Buccaneers rookie LB Jack Cichy also suffered a torn ACL during Sunday’s game along with LB Kwon Alexander.

During his final year at Wisconsin, Cichy suffered a torn ACL, so this is really disappointing news for him and the Buccaneers.

You can expect the Bucs to place both of them on injured reserve in the coming days and add someone to their roster.

Cichy, 22, was taken in the sixth round of this year’s draft by the Buccaneers. He agreed to a four-year, $2,605,376 that included a $145,376 signing bonus.

Cichy stands to make base salaries of $480,000 and $750,000 over the next two years of the agreement.

In 2018, Cichy appeared in six games for the Buccaneers and recorded four tackles and no sacks or interceptions.
