Buccaneers Sign DL Robert Talley, Waive Two Players

Scott Smith of Buccaneers.com reports that the team has signed veteran DL Robert Talley to a contract on Friday.

He was one of six players who tried out for the team earlier this week, so he must have had an impressive workout.

Talley, 28, signed with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Delaware back in 2011. He appeared in six games for the Cardinals last year and totaled four tackles on the season.

Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 75 snaps in 2013.

Dawkins was a seventh-round selection of the Vikings last year, but he would later be signed off of the team’s practice squad by the Cowboys.
