Buccaneers Sign First-Round Pick WR Mike Evans

 

The Buccaneers have agreed to terms with first-round pick WR Mike Evans on a four-year contract.

Tampa Bay has four of their six draft picks under contract other than TEĀ Austin Seferian-Jenkins (second round) and RB Charles Sims (third round).

Evans’Ā four-year contract is worth an estimated $8,961,092Ā and includes a signing bonus of $14,631,500, according toĀ OverTheCap.com.

During his two years at Texas A&M, Evans recorded 151 receptions for 2,499 yards receiving and 17 touchdowns over the course of 26 games.

Evans joins Vincent Jackson, which should make for a few good receiver tandem in Tampa Bay for new QB Josh McCown.
