Buccaneers Sign OT Kevin Palmer

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed OT Kevin Palmer to a contract on Monday, according to Greg Auman.

Auman mentions that this is a depth signing for the Buccaneers, who have sustained multiple injuries and absences on offensive line.

Palmer, 25, originally signed on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Baylor back in May of 2014. He was one and off of the Cardinals’ practice squad and was later brought back on a future/reserve contract. However, Arizona elected to cut him loose shortly after last year’s draft.

The Chiefs later signed him to a contract, but his stay in Kansas City was short lived, as he was waived just a month later. Palmer caught on with the Steelers closet to a month later, but was waived with a failed physical designation this past February after spending the 2015 season on injured reserve.

Palmer has yet to appear in an NFL game.
