Buccaneers Sign Second-Round RB Ronald Jones, Wrap Up Draft Class

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Thursday that they’ve signed second-round RB Ronald Jones II to a four-year contract.

Jones, 20, was taken with the No. 38 overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft by the Buccaneers. According to OverTheCap.com, he receives a four-year, $7,071,926 contract that includes a $3,223,320 signing bonus.

During his three-year college career at Southern California, Jones recorded 591 rushing attempts for 3,619 yards (6.1 YPC) and 39 touchdowns to go along with 32 receptions, 302 yards receiving (9.4 YPC) and three touchdowns.
