The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed TE Tevin Westbrook to their practice squad on Wednesday, according to his agent Brett Tessler.
Westbrook wound up trying out for a few teams this week including the Chargers and Vikings. However, it appears as though the Buccaneers were his best option.
Westbrook, 22, wound up signing on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Florida shortly after this year’s NFL draft. However, he lasted just a few months in Tennessee before he was among the team’s early roster cuts.
During his three years at Florida, Westbrook caught 11 passes for 111 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
