Buccaneers Sign Three Players Including S M.D. Jennings To Future/Reserve Contracts

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed S  M.D. Jennings, TE Taylor Sloat, and P Chase Tenpenny to a future/reserve contracts on Monday, according to Scott Smith.

Before today, the Buccaneers had signed seven players to future’s contracts including:

Jennings, 26, one-year, $745,000 contract with the Bears back in March of last year, but he was unable to make the team coming out of the preseason. Chicago later released him with an injury settlement.

Jennings didn’t appear in a single game during the 2014 season.

He spent three years with the Packers and actually played in 47 out of 48 games during this time. However, Jennings struggled mightily in coverage, so he’s really a work in progress.
