Buccaneers Signing CFL LB Jeff Knox To Futures Deal

NFL Draft Diamonds is reporting that the Buccaneers are signing CFL LB Jeff Knox to a future/reserve contract.

This would be the 11th player the Buccaneers have signed to a futures deal since their season ended a few weeks ago. The full list includes:

  1. OL Mike Liedtke (NFLTR)
  2. Isaiah Johnson
  3. RB Blake Sims 
  4. TE Tevin Westbrook 
  5. OL Josh Allen
  6. CB Cody Riggs
  7. TE Kivon Cartwright
  8. John Lunsford 
  9. G Jarvis Harrison
  10. FB Quayvon Hicks
  11. LB Jeff Knox

Knox, 24, wound up going undrafted out of California University of Pennsylvania back in 2015. He later signed on with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and has spent the past two season playing in Canada.

In total, Knox has recorded 177 tackles, one sack and an interception for the Roughriders over the course of 35 games.
