Buccaneers Signing LB Farrington Huguenin & DE Alec James To Practice Squad

According to Jenna Laine of ESPN, the Buccaneers have signed LB Farrington Huguenin to their practice squad.

Tampa Bay also signed DE Alec James to their practice squad on Tuesday, per Jason La Canfora.

The Buccaneers’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. OL Cole Boozer
  2. DL Jeremiah Ledbetter
  3. LB Eric Nzeocha (International)
  4. DE Patrick O’Connor
  5. OT Ruben Holcomb
  6. WR Bernard Reedy
  7. DE Demone Harris
  8. RB Dare Ogunbowale
  9. WR K.J. Brent
  10. LB Emmanuel Smith
  11. DL Farrington Huguenin
  12. DE Alec James

The Buccaneers will now have to make create a spot on their practice squad since they have 12 players under contract.

Huguenin, 26, originally signed on with Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Kentucky back in 2016. After Miami cut him with an injury settlement, he signed a futures deal with the Steelers in January of last year and later caught on with their practice squad.

Pittsburgh released him from their practice squad earlier this month.

He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
