Buccaneers Sticking With Ryan Fitzpatrick As Starter For Week 11

On Monday, Buccaneers HC Dirk Koetter announced that they’re sticking with Ryan Fitzpatrick as their starting quarterback for Week 11’s game against the Giants, per Greg Auman.

It’s clear that the team believes Fitzpatrick gives them the best shot at winning games now, but we’re getting to the point where they could turn back to Jameis Winston if they don’t start winning games.

Fitzpatrick, 35, is a former seventh-round pick of the Rams back in 2005. He’s played for several teams over the course of his 13-year NFL career including the Bengals, Bills, Titans, Texans and Jets before he signed on with the Buccaneers last year.

In 2018, Fitzpatrick had appeared in seven games for the Buccaneers and completed 67.1 percent of his passes for 2,199 yards, 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He has also rushed for 138 yards and touchdown.
