Buccaneers Bringing In OTs Nate Chandler & Brandon Mosley For Tryouts

Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports that the Buccaneers are bringing in offensive linemen Nate Chandler and Brandon Mosley for tryouts during the team’s three-day minicamp this week.

A previous report mentioned that the Buccaneers had interest in Chandler, but it appears as though they wanted to wait and until offseason workouts got underway before bringing him in for a tryout.

Chandler, 26, signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA back in 2012. He wound up signing a three-year extension with the Panthers back in 2014, but was unfortunately released by Carolina in a move that freed up $1.3 million in available cap space.

Last year, Chandler wound up missing the entire 2015 season due to a knee injury that led to him being placed on season-ending injured reserve.

Mosley, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Giants back in 2012. He spent three years with the Giants before he was waived with the injury designation at the start of the 2015 season.

After clearing waivers, Mosley later reverted to the Giants’ injured reserve list where he remained for the entire season.
