Buccaneers Waive DB Amari Coleman From Injured Reserve

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially waived DB Amari Coleman from injured reserve on Saturday.

Coleman, 22, wound up signing on with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Central Michigan back in May. He lasted a few months in Detroit before the Lions elected to cut him loose during the preseason and he later caught on with the Buccaneers.

Tampa Bay waived Coleman with an injury designation soon after and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.

During his college career at Central Michigan, Coleman recorded 141 tackles, nine tackles for a loss, one sack, eight interceptions with three being returned for touchdowns, a forced fumble and a recovery over the course of four seasons and 44 games played.
