Buccaneers Waive K Brandon Bogotay

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Buccaneers are placing K Brandon Bogotay on waivers Thursday.

This comes after the Buccaneers signed Connor Barth to a two-year contract on Wednesday. Tampa Bay still has Patrick Murray on their roster as well, but it appears as though they’re comfortable moving forward with Barth as their starter.

Bogotay, 26, originally signed on with the Browns as an undrated free agent out of Georgia back in 2013. He was unfortunately unable to make the Browns’ 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.

However, the Buccaneers signed him to a contract back in May after their rookie mini-camp.
