Buccaneers Waive TE Emmanuel Ogbuehi From I.R. With Settlement

The Buccaneers waived TE Emmanuel Ogbuehi from injured reserve with an injury settlement on Thursday, according to the NFL transactions release.

Tampa Bay originally cut Ogbuehi a few weeks ago to make room for G Antoine Everett, who was signed to a contract. However, Ogbuehi later reverted to injured reserve after clearing waivers.

Ogbuehi, 24, originally signed on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia State back in 2013. Since then, Ogbuehi has played briefly for the Dolphins, Browns, and Ravens.

During his four years at Georgia State, Ogbuehi caught 47 passes for 581 yards receiving and four touchdowns over the course of 28 games.
